Hello and welcome to rachel-rose.net. This site began as
ravenhead.org in 1999 and I've maintained it ever since. I am constantly surprised at the number of visitors! The
Anatomy and
Physiology section is a big draw and is
even linked from the BBC's web site. The main reason I am online
is to promote massage and MLD. Manual Lymphatic Drainage is
disaserously under-represented in complementary medicine, and woefully
under-resourced in hospitals and cancer care facilities. It is a
wonderfully effective non-invasive therapy that can help cancer
survivors and sufferers of many diverse illnesses such as rheumatoid
arthirtis and migraine.
Please take the time to read the MLD section and learn to recognise this condition. It affects, literally,
millions of people and can only truly be controlled with MLD and
Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT).
